Sarah Sacker has been hired as an ANIMART marketing associate of the dairy and livestock division which provides animal health products, supplies and solutions to producers.
Sacker recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with bachelor's degrees in dairy science and life sciences communication, and will be responsible for assisting with dairy and livestock marketing and communications. As marketing associate, she will also support the marketing communication efforts to introduce new products, programs and services to the ANIMART sales team and ANIMART customer base.
"ANIMART is excited to have Sarah join our team," says Katie Klessig, marketing manager with ANIMART. "Her knowledge of producers' needs coupled with her understanding of production-based agriculture and marketing communications makes her a perfect fit with our company."
Sacker has been exposed to the dairy industry for many years through involvement on her family farm, showing dairy cattle and involvement in 4-H and FFA. She broadened her knowledge of production agriculture by interning at Spring Grove Dairy and Sassy Cow Creamery and attending educational events and seminars.
On the UW-Madison campus, she was active in the Association of Women in Agriculture, Badger Dairy Club, National Agri-Marketing Association and was a founding member of Wisconsin's first Collegiate Farm Bureau Chapter.
