The Wisconsin FFA Foundation is calling for 2011 post-secondary scholarship applications. The electronic application is available on the Wisconsin FFA website (www.wisconsinffa.org). All applications are due to be postmarked by April 25 to the Wisconsin FFA Foundation office.
Applicants must be a senior in high school or enrolled in a university or technical school and have maintained a satisfactory scholastic record in school. FFA members need to only fill out one application to be considered for all scholarships for which the applicant qualifies. A listing of additional criteria for certain scholarships is available on the Wisconsin FFA website.
Winners of the 2011 Wisconsin FFA Foundation post-secondary scholarships will be announced at the Wisconsin FFA Convention in June.
Through the Wisconsin FFA Foundation scholarship program nearly $15,000 is available to FFA members by generous contributions from business and private donors - The Bert and Claude Blain/Blain Supply Co.; The GROWMARK Foundation; ANIMART, Inc.; Cooperative Resources International; Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association; UW-Madison Collegiate FFA; Star Blends; WPS Farm Show Food Vendors; Harold and Geneva Beals Endowment; Dr. Robert Campbell Memorial Scholarship; Matt Anderson Endowment; Mary Elstad and Dean P. Gagnon Endowment; John and Hattie Van Wychen Endowment.
